I was just rotating the tires and noticed on my left front rotor that when I turn it(by hand),I hear a rubbing sound like the pad(s) are touching slightly. Nothing dramatic but I heard the rubbing sound and wonder if my calibers need to be inspected by the dealer. Has anyone experienced this?

If your hearing a sweeping sound, usually on a high spot, and you can turn by hand, this is normal. When you release the brake pedal the calipers release pressure but there is no incentive for pads to release further than they have to.
You'll notice it more right after you wash the car, because there is only a RCH (the finest increment known to man) between the rotor and the pad and any superficial rust will sound like something is wrong.
Go forth and haze some bimmers...
