Just skimming through local paper car ads Sun-Sentinel Broward/Dade/Palm Beach Counties. Seemed like a good price on a V8 STS with real low miles.

Sounds too cheap. What is the car history & why is it being sold ?? May be a good buy if not wrecked, engine blown, or ??? Who is selling, what is the remaining warranty, & warranty by whom ?? Strongly suggest the verification before spending $$

I have been following prices of the sts for about 6 months. This price seems to be in the ball park. Go to ebay and check out the "buy it now" prices. You can quickly get a feel for the market. I've seen some V-6's selling for between 28 and 30K. I reality, 98% of the sts's don't actually sell, although the "the buy it now" gives a realistice representation of what price you could buy that particulare vehicle. Based on the prices I've seen, $39,000 is in the ballpark. As a matter of fact, there are two V-8's on ebay offered by dealerships between 37.9 - 40K.

It just stood out when I saw it, low mileage (full warranty).

check the option packages. Getting the SG1 package $39K is a great price. If it is just the base v8, it is still a very reasonable price.

I just bought a 2006 with 9k miles, certified, northstar, 'luxury' package (nav etc.), sunroof for $36,500 including 2 years scheduled maintenance.

Incredible car, and unfrigginbelievable car for the money!

Check this one out. It's a V-6 for a buy it now price of less than $25,000. This is the lowest one I've seen yet. A Flordia car. Maybe it was in a flood, maybe not.
