View Full Version : Opinion on these 20" Wheels Please.... Rey Rey 650 05-27-06, 05:58 PM So, I was at "the Spot" today in Oakland and ran into some black rims that i really liked for my car. The guy at "The Spot" rolled the rim out to my car so i can see what it looked like (So i snapped a pic) I should my buddy and he thought they looked to "Racey" or whatever... I was kinda bumed but what do you guys think? I personally liked them though.... Honest opinions here! :)

The price seems pretty decent from the "spot". dkozloski 05-27-06, 06:24 PM I just can't get used to that 20" look. I saw a Mercedes today that looked like he'd stolen the wheels off an old Railway Express Agency baggage cart. Every generation has the wheel look they like but this one is really weird. Form over function, the engineers nightmare. Black Ops 05-27-06, 07:06 PM So, I was at "the Spot" today in Oakland and ran into some black rims that i really liked for my car. Those are nice, but looking at the link it didn't show our bolt pattern 5 x 115?:hmm: ChicagoCTS32 05-27-06, 07:58 PM They look similar to the block 16" stock rims. Not bad, not great. onephatguy 05-27-06, 09:23 PM Those are nice, but looking at the link it didn't show our bolt pattern 5 x 115?:hmm:
That's my concern also. I do think they would look hot on your black raven CTS. You may want to upgrade your brakes if you are going to have them exposed with those wheels. But, get the right bolt pattern.
I was just in Oak town last weekend. Maybe I'll catch you sometime. Rey Rey 650 05-27-06, 10:15 PM People are meeting all over the place... We should have something in the Bay... The dude said that it would fit... WTF? Pros my ass!
So what is our bolt pattern? ChicagoCTS32 05-27-06, 10:28 PM 5x115 5 X 115, however some have done the 114.3 with the aluminum hubcentric rings. I would only want the 115's, but I believe their are many who have the 114.3 and have had no balance or tire wear issue's. Someone who has, please chime in. Personally, I like the Venice better than the F18, but they are both nice looking. NFDfiremedic 05-28-06, 04:39 PM I am looking at these atm
http://www.gwheelsdirect.com/cassino.asp bigsef36 05-28-06, 05:00 PM They look ok, not my 1st choice With the inserts painted the same as the red line, they should look pretty damn good. I wonder if you could photo chop them to see how it will look. Rey Rey 650 05-29-06, 07:22 PM Or these http://www.tkomotorwerks.com/products.php?productid=170 ? |
