Well today i had enough of the little bastards up the street. Strike 3.....

We got these kids , mean as hell. There mom is a teacher , so you know what sort of hellians these are. Well the play with there boards int he street and as a car comes by they like to fling stuff out infront of it to make us stop. Or theyll build makeshift ramps and trick stands int he street so no one can get by , and they wont move them when you come down the street. Strike one occured when one slid his bboard infront of my car , that time i stoped , grabed the board and said "dont do that again , I WILL RUN IT OVER". Next day dad runs it over when he tried the trick with him.Strike 2 was this plywood thing they built to block the street, i stopped the car , got my crowbar and dismatled it while they watched and threw everything in there yard. Strike three was this little steel pipe mounted on a one foot stand painted black , left in the street after dark. They were all sitting in the driveway giggleing as i damn near hit it. I got out once again , told them "thats it". I flung it into there yard and called there mother. She appologized and said it wouldnt happen again. Today the little bastard slid the pipe thing infront of the car i damn near hit it again. After i drug it out the way i liquified the front tires and put the car in the garage. I take a walk every night after dark , and i know where they store this contraption outside.

So i just finished putting the oxy seteline cutting torch back together. Tonight i go and steal the pipe , bring it into the garage and cut it into 50 peices , put it in a box and leave it on there doorstep.

When they get a new one and do it again ill stop and call the police and hold the little bastards till the cops can come deal with them...

Don't cut it up,weld some stuff to it in the middle so they can't use it.

Time to find a roughed up 1985 Crown Victoria for 100 bucks and next time they throw something in the street, your response is to floor it.... then do some donuts on their front yard.

There are few things more annoying to me than the high school skater bitch. Every one of them thinks they are so cool and they treat everyone else, including those much older like total shit. Oh, and they have a poor taste in music, very poor.

Up here in "Sleepy Hollow", we rarely get those kinds of street trash - the worst thing that happens around here is a Drive-By-Scolding.

We have something far more insidious to deal with - STREET CALMING MEASURES. These are various incentives put forward by some tree-hugging, cappocino-sucking, birkenstock wearing crunchy granolas, to our City Councillors in an effort to make the streets of our fair city as car-unfriendly as possible. And those same Councillors, with Spines of Jello, bend everytime to the special interest groups. Sound familiar?

Just so their little darlings can play in the middle of the street anytime of the day.

When I was growing up, I was taught NOT TO play in the streets - that's where cars play and you can get run over and end up in the hospital and you'd better be wearing clean underwear when it happens or your Mom and Dad will beat the living tar out of you for shaming the family,,,,well,,,,,,you get the idea, I'm sure.

In addition to the more mundane "speed humps" that crop up every block or so on these streets, there's also curbs that weave drunkenly all over the road forcing you into a slalom situation, as well as trees and shrubs put into concrete containers and placed the middle of the Goddam road - I kid you not!

I've been waging a not-so-silent war on these pinheads. You wanna put those GD speed humps in my way? Well, everytime I have to slow down to go over one, I'm gonna lean on the horn for the entire time I go over it - and I'll go over it REALLL SLOW. Shucks, I mean, I want to make sure that I warn any of the little gems that may be near that hump to stay away from it until my car is safely down the street, right? RIGHT?

Nothing like the 4 note harmonics of that optional Caddy horn to wake up the neighbourhood at 3:00am. Might even be depriving the little darlings of their beauty sleep and maybe they'll be too tired to go out and play in the street in the middle of rush hour the next day.

I am involved in a similar "war" with my neighbors 2 kids and their friend. They're probably 8-11 years old or so. They flipped me off once, so I did the same. Then the war started with a piece of bologna on the then-flawless paint on my ETC. I removed it and washed the area. 2 weeks later, another piece on my parent's work truck (which also has nice paint.) I started getting frustrated but didn't really know who was doing it. Then another piece on my ETC. I get really pissed and put it on their parents cars. I walk over and ask them if they knew who had been putting bologna on my car, they smiled and giggled and said no. Not a week later, SEVEN pieces appear on my ETC.

The next day the idiots decide to leave their skateboard in the gutter while they're playing basketball, so as I'm leaving I deliberately run it over, back up, run it over again, and leave. My friend took a leak on their basketball that night after I told him the story.

The latest thing they've done is egged my Lincoln. I washed it off, calmly walked over while they were playing outside and they ran away. I sat on the curb until they got the balls up to come back. I told them I'm keeping an eye on my car and that I've got a piece of rebar waiting for anyone who comes near it again.


I think if they did something like leaving a black painted pipe in the road for people to hit I'd have to simply beat the hell out of them. Just remember to let up if they go unconcious because then it's attempted murder.

An 18 or 19 year old beating an 8 year old will get you no where but trouble when the parents call the police. The little darlings will always come out on top. Beat them to the punch and call the police every time. The cops will soon get tired of these calls and let the parents know it.

we didnt act stupid and immature. we skated... we got kicked out of places and sure sometimes it got heated and yes i have had my ass handed to me by several cops... so what? like Henry Hill said, "sometimes you just gotta take a beating." and there were a lot of cool cops too. i had a lot of reasons for quiting... 1 being i didnt enjoy it anymore. it got old. listen in the summer i literally skated for 14-16 hours a day. when school was in i skated atleast 8 hours a day... atleast. 2 being there wasnt much i couldnt do. everyone kept saying to learn goofy footed (i was regular footed) but i didnt want to. i could do some things switch foot though. 3 being i didnt like what it was turning into. and there were other reasons. i quit and havent looked back. well at one point i considered it but nah. besides that i swolled up too. so i am too big to be skating now. you can stick up for these little punks all you want but as for me... nah...

I used to skate "back in the day" too, me and my friends had a ton of fun back then. I was the filmer. I have about 8 mini DV tapes of all the stuff we did back then, and we all watched them in my basement not too long ago and remembered all the good times we had back then. We weren't destructive or anything like the skaters today are, we did it to have fun. One of my friends even got sponsored by a small website, i'll post his video if I can find it.

go back and read the other posts, i listed three of the many reasons i quit skating. no i know what you are saying, i see it as sticking up for them and you dont... i am not mad at you in anyway shape or form. it really is a touchy subject with me. i hate everything it has turned into. i could careless if skateboarding fell off the map tomorrow. i skated cause it used to be fun. used to being the key word. it got old after a while. not to brag (cause i am not) but i was a damn good skater... after almost 7 years of it i got pretty damn good. when i wasnt hustlin i was skating and eventually it went to just skating... it got old. i got bored, i hated what it had turned into, i hated getting hurt when i did, i hated it. got to the point i couldnt stand it. so one day i just got up and didnt skate... and for three years i havent since.
