Have you seen this....

Having owned my CTS for over a year, I never once got a new car survey on my car?

FOR RELEASE: 2006-05-24
Cadillac CTS Wins Owner Accolades, Sales Success
Owners choose CTS in AutoPacific's Vehicle Satisfaction Award

DETROIT (May 24, 2006) – Cadillac CTS has been a trend-setter in auto design, a hit with consumers and industry experts. Now according to a recent survey, luxury sport sedan owners say CTS is the most satisfying car in its class. CTS earned first place in the Entry Luxury Car category in AutoPacific’s recent Vehicle Satisfaction Awards.
AutoPacific’s Vehicle Satisfaction Award comes directly from vehicle owners’ input of their experience with their vehicle. In the survey the owners of Entry Luxury Cars found CTS to be the most satisfying, in a category including many of the top luxury brands.
“Everyone has opinions about cars, but ultimately the strongest voice belongs to the buyer,” said Jim Taylor, Cadillac general manager. “We’re very proud that CTS has been so consistently strong in terms of earning, and then satisfying, luxury car buyers.”
CTS has logged sales increases in each of its four years in the market, helping Cadillac reach overall gains every year in this era. CTS sold more than 61,000 units in the U.S. in 2005, compared to roughly 38,000 units in 2002, the year it debuted, representing an increase of 60 percent over that period. This sustained sales growth is counter to conventional industry logic that says a new car’s hottest sales occur shortly after launch, followed quickly by a plateau.
“CTS is one of the fundamental parts of Cadillac’s renaissance, signaling our return to rear-wheel drive performance and dramatic design,” Taylor said. “It is successful on many levels, inviting new luxury buyers to Cadillac and helping change opinions.”
Cadillac has even extended CTS into the ultra-competitive arena of motor sports. The CTS-V racecar, based on the 400-hp CTS-V production car, won the 2005 Driver and Manufacturer’s titles in the SPEED World Challenge GT class.
CTS, with a standard 2.8-liter V6 engine, starts at $29,990 MSRP. A 255-hp 3.6L V-6 engine starts at $32,690.

Interesting.... I never got anything either.... but my CTS is an 03....:hmm:
Same goes for the invite for the Caddy Test drives they have, only got an invite the year I got my car, never again after that... :(

Wonder if that guy, whose name is at the bottom (with the email address :stirpot: ) would answer questions, or even maybe got tempted to come check this site out if someone sent him an email.... :contract: .... maybe they would start considering our opinions as well (since Reed mentioned that at a Caddy/Customer meeting they had recently he was the only one that was below 45 years old if I recall correctly).....

Easy on the 45 year old (am I ready for Social Security) comment. I think it is important for cadillac to watch with interest not just the young consumer, but the one that is interested in this type of car. I like that it looks like nothing else, and I hope that theme continues. I think thats a large draw to our cars. This is the first time that I have ever seen a cadillac that has such a diverse (read race, age and income level) ownership. I'm not talking about us on this forum as much, as this does not represent the totally typical type owner (I feel we are more of a motor head type). We probablty scrutinize our vehicles much more then the norm, and expect a bit more out of them. Hopefully we will continue to see the unique styling and improving performance we love and more attention to furthered reliability as well. If they do this I think we could challenge the BMW 3 series as the desired ride in this class.

Didn't mean any disrespect, just pointing out the fact that younger people are more and more interested in the car as well, and should be given a voice..... :)

As Reed mentioned, the things that the older poeple want is not great service for our cars, but want comfy waiting areas and nice TV's in them..... I rather get my car fixed right and get it fixed right the first time and I will suffer with a dirty old chair in the waiting area if need be.... :stirpot:

No offence taken, Should have put a laughing smilie. I like to keep things light, guess I missed on that one. I too don't need all the thrills, but that is the core of Cadillac (seniors with disposable income) at this time. Hopefully the CTS and V's are changing that.

You are right on that, but like you also said hopefully they will start to see the whole picture as well..... :) and good, I'm not one to start any troubles..... well at least not yet...:lildevil:

But I could have used better words for it, but at least now no one should get upset about it either.... :eyebrow:

 Yeah, I too like these smilies.... :bouncy:

I've written this before, but I'll write it again. The CTS is going to be a VERY hard act to follow. The next generation model that goes on sale next year has alot to live up to.

To add, they have hit the ground running, they must maintain the momentum and I believe keep the look unique and non generic. I also believe it needs the coupe and convertable to fill out the line like the 3 series and Audi A4 . Do this and they will come, and they will then keep people talking and aspiring to own one like the 2 mentioned.
