Got my first self inflicted battle scar today. I was doing some work in the garage absentmindedly left a drill on top of a ladder near the V and when I moved the ladder the drill fell off, the bit catching the fender on the way down. Nice one, all the way into the metal. I feel like Tim Taylor, all my projects end up costing me skin or unintentional damage of some kind.

I'm hoping the Langka paint repair kit I just ordered can get this out. If not, it's off to the body shop. Any one with experience with the Langka kit have any pos/neg things to say about it?

Sorry to hear about the scratch! No experience but I'm really interested in hearing your results.

I feel for you as I have done the same in the past on a motorcycle I dearly loved. Anyway the Langka kit is good, but it is the "flop" of the metallic particles that might bite you on your touchup. Hopefully, it all goes well.

Ouch. I nicked my front bumper on the corner of my toolbox just the other day. Took a nice 1/4 in. deep slice, like someone cut it with a knife.

I feel your pain.

The Langka stuff works really well on non-metallic paints. With metallic paints, when you level the paint blob, the color will not match.

Keep us posted. I have a Platinum '05 with a nick in the side. I am worried too about the metallic paint matching with the Langka kit. Good luck. I hope it works out.

I have a small plastic bottle of touch up paint from gm.Matches perfect,damn man,thats a bad scratch,i feel for you.If you can't find matching paint I can mail you this and you can send what you don't use back.
