The theme for CSI Miami is Won't Get Fooled Again by The Who. CSI NY is Baba O'Riley by The Who. CSI (Vegas) is Who Are You? by guess again, The Who.

Kind of stuck on a theme, eh? I don't know about you guys, but whenever I hear someone asking questions like this (especially when the answer is so obvious to someone who lived through the songs the first time) I start to feel really, really, old. Ever had some punked out weenie with a safety pin through their cheek ask you about this great new song on the radio and it's The Beatles playing?

",,,,,,,,,,,And Jesus Wept."

I doubt we'll see rap last as long as our music does!

I'm jealous, you have a Norton. I've always wanted to get a Norton 850 Commando! My last bike was a Kaw 750 H2 triple.

I hear ya too (although, not as well as I should..:bighead:

It's a generational thing, there's nothing to do about it. We didn't know the name of every Benny Goodman or Fred Waring song, so OUR parents thought we were philistines too. They said Rock and Roll was a fad. We say Rap is a fad..who's to tell?

Possibly apocryphal story: Overheard at a mall food court:

1st Teenage girl: "Was Paul McCartney in a band before Wings?

I became musically aware around 1965 or so. The first ALBUM I ever bought was "Happy Together" by the Turtles, but I soon wised up. I think the second was "Wheels of Fire".. l:worship:

Sobering thoughts:

Chuck Berry will be 80 later this year.
Jerry Lee Lewis is 71.
Little Richard is 74
John Lennon WOULD have been 66
Jimi Hendrix WOULD have been 64
Mick Jagger will be 63
Keith Richards will be 63
Pete Townshend is 61
Brian Wilson is 64
Phil Collins is 55
