: Navi & Onstar Question

Hey guys. I'm looking to pick up a used CTS-V, but I have a question concerning the GPS navigational system and Onstar.

Is it possible to disable Onstar (remove the box) and keep a working navigational system? I have a "big brother" complex and removed the system on my Escalade, but I would like to keep the navigational system functional in the CTS-V if possible. Seems like it should work, but I would love to hear from someone who had already done it.

Thanks in advance.

*Sorry if this is a repost, I searched a couple pages deep but didn't see it.

Yep... I have it done.. you will lose the microphone for voice notes, but that feature is worthless anyway...

Thank you, Reed. It seems logical for the two systems to be separate. I was looking for a confirmation.

Thanks again. :)
