If this thing goes into production and is priced the same as the Mustang, it should sell better. Then again, I always felt the 4rth gen fbody cars were better than the Mustang and they did not outsell it. Come to think of it, I liked the 3rd gen better than the Mustang and that didnt work either. Oh well, its worth a shot. ShadowLvr400 05-25-06, 04:07 AM I like it. Though the rear reminds me of a bulldog. Very squat, wide, and meaty. Still gotta see it in production. MacKiNBacK 05-25-06, 03:08 PM Lol.. if you check out the pics of the camaro.. Go to the last page and it's one of the last pics.. You can see its overheating and all kinds of fluids running out the bottom. I must say I do like the looks. Those guages are pretty funky looking. But I really dont think it will be the same price as the mustang. what are you talking about fluids and over heating?
you mean the shot with the water on the ground?
thats not leaking out, its in the background too... ever hear of rain? HITMONEY 05-26-06, 11:16 AM I think he is refering to this pic. Looks like it is puking fluids to me too.
And definite steam/smoke coming from engine bay. yeah some hose is def leaking coolant. Its a prototype so this is expected. Randy_W 05-26-06, 03:13 PM I think you guys have depth preception problem, that water is 1.5' or more behind the front axle area and there's nothing coming from the car, looks like a rain puddle to me. I think you guys have depth preception problem, that water is 1.5' or more behind the front axle area and there's nothing coming from the car, looks like a rain puddle to me.
And the white smoke? What are they looking at..... HITMONEY 05-26-06, 04:08 PM I think you guys have depth preception problem, that water is 1.5' or more behind the front axle area and there's nothing coming from the car, looks like a rain puddle to me.

I'm just messing with you guys, I have no clue what's happening there.:) It probably is a cooling issue. These cars are not meant for any kind of real world driving. There developed for the show circuit and usually don't need to do much except move themself from trailer to podium and sometimes sound badass. Generally they are put together for the WOW effect and some of the designs are purely jewlery like so there is usually a good number of impractical parts not meant for production at this point in there development. You suddenly throw it out on the road with no testing done on the systems and things like overheating or these types of breakdowns are common. I bet it would be more fun to drive around one of their test mules to see what direction their heading with the design. DopeStar 156 05-27-06, 01:23 PM This disappoints me.... I never knew any of this about concepts, I thought they were all real cars and not just held together with spit and dental floss..... The new Camaro I used to look at as a bad ass speed machine, now it looks like I would associate it with a suffering cancerous old man whose bones are disintegrating every step he takes......
Ahh **** it, I still want one..... LittleB 05-28-06, 02:35 AM I LOVE IT!!!! Wow...that is so sexy...I want one!! WOTMODE 05-28-06, 02:44 AM I'm by no means a Dodge or Ford fan, but the first time I saw the new Mustang and then the new Challenger, I was like DAMN! These look friggen good. My first impression of the Camaro, "nice try". Both the Mustang and especially the Challenger have me wishing I lived my prime in the muscle car era. The new Camaro instills no such desire. If Chevy were to put a C6 Corvette chassis and drive train under a body that closely resembled a '67 Vette, then they would have something. |
