Hi, i have an 83 coupe deville that had the HT4100 in it. I have purchased a 350 that came out of a 68 buick skylark. My question is, how much pressure does the stock fuel pump push out? And if it would even be possible, should i use the original fuel pump or the mechanical pump that is on the 350?

Use the mechanical pump on the 350. The 4100 is FI, 350 will be carb'd and probably need less pressure.
The 4100 used a fuel pressure regulator to control pressure in the 10 lb range. Without the regulator it can go to 3 times that! A carb'ed engine as you know, needs like 3 to 5 lb pressure. Use the mechanical pump.

Alright thanks guys. One more quick question though, am i going to be able to just hook the fuel line to 350 or will I have to drop the tank and remove or bypass the electric pump?
