Sounds like a transfer door problem. Not sure if it's electric or vacuum on you year.

How would I go about fixing that? now I've resorted to going over a bump to un-stick it when I need air lol.

My 91 Brougham all my vents blow except the driver side top vent, which feels like a baby is blowing air on my arm, meaning I can barely feel a thing, lol.

check under steering column that the extension is properly connected to the vent. 1. take off 4 screws for plastic cover and remove. 2. visually see if it's there or not alot of people who remove it to work on something else in that area have a hard time putting it in so they wont. 3. turn on car and ac feel for air around extension. good luck
