What do I need to do to fit a platinum grille that does not have the body colored plastic on it... Does the plastic just snap on and off or does it need to be glued or something??
Please inform me...

There are plastic tabs that hold the colored shell to the grill. Grinding them off with a dremel is the easiest way to get them off. Some sort of RTV or all weather epoxy would be the best way to re-attach it.

:yeah: as Steve said.
I guess you have a color that was not offered in The Platinum Edition.

I was/am in the same boat, but I like my body matched grill too much.

Yea I think the Alpine white painted grill looks better on your truck then a chrome one would.

I have a spare grill and a billet insert that I bought almost three years ago. One of these days I may install it in the spare just to see how it looks, but I doubt I'll like it.

Its hard to have a aftermarket grill with stock rims. It just doesn't look right. I do like the way your truck looks now with your painted grill.
