Brett 03-26-03, 09:06 AM there is some more info in the future models section, you may want to check it out PONCHO 03-26-03, 11:36 AM That car will put cadillac into such a good position (like they were back in the early 1900's) They would be crowned the "standard of the world" again for high class upscale luxury cars. PONCHO 03-26-03, 11:38 AM Or wait- imagine your watching MTV cribs and you see one with 26's and a total DVD, GPS, CD, TV, and what ever other system. baller Liseckas 03-26-03, 08:34 PM Now here's a V-16 that really made it into production. This is a 1938 Series 90 Limousine that was once owned by W.C. Fields. Now this is a REAL Cadillac! vanaisa 04-11-03, 10:20 AM Now here's a V-16 that really made it into production. This is a 1938 Series 90 Limousine that was once owned by W.C. Fields. Now this is a REAL Cadillac! How many those ´37 Cadillacs are restored? What is its value today? We have one of those cadillacs here, in Estonia - but it is in very bad condition... :crying: elwesso 04-11-03, 05:06 PM Obviously those people dont know what they have. "oh yeah, thats a V16" Liseckas 04-16-03, 05:05 PM How many those ´37 Cadillacs are restored? What is its value today? The values for a restored automobile are between 100,000 and 200,000 USD. There were only 49 V16 cars made in 1937 and that is for all the body styles. The most common one was the Imperial Sedan and there were only 24 made. There are probably very few remaining now. Südamlike tervitustega!:) [/B] Oho - how do you speak estonian? Well, this 37 Cadillac has only V8 engine... some pictures of this car (http://www.hot.ee/cowgod/index.html) so, this is not so rare... Liseckas 04-17-03, 05:50 PM The Cadillac in the photos is also a rare car. The car appears very restorable. It is an export model of the Series 75 Imperial sedan of which there were only 84 made. I don't know what the car is worth exactly but the same but more common version of this car in the US is worth about 50000 USD restored. I would think that this car could be worth more than 50000 USD if it were restored. I only know a few phrases and greetings in Estonian. I am Lithuanian. vanaisa 04-17-03, 06:36 PM OK, thanks for information.. Of cource i try buy this car...only, it does not have original engine (replaced with russian Zim straight eight) and transmission... It be obviously a pain to find engine AND transmission AND rear end to this car.... Liseckas 04-17-03, 07:33 PM I know that there is a Cadillac club in Finland. They may be able to help you find a correct engine and transmission. You may be able to use the same rear end. It may be possible that the transmission is similar. Many old russian designs were copies of American automobiles. The old Chaika's were actually made from Packard's (an American automaker no longer in production) old tooling. The website for the Cadillac club in Finland is at: http://www.car-nection.com/ccof/ The car should be put in a garage as soon as possible so that the condition does not become worse. Hea õnn. HotRodSaint 04-17-03, 07:49 PM What makes this an export version? Does it have different equipment than the US version? Liseckas 04-17-03, 08:03 PM I was going off the id tag on the firewall. It says Antwerp, which is a city in the Netherlands, on the tag. I couldn't make out all the info on the tag but by my assumption it is a 7533 CKD (Completely Knocked Down). These cars were sent out in crates and reassembled in the country that they were exported to. It may have different equipment as required by the country it was exported to. How this car arrived in Estonia is another interesting matter. vanaisa 04-17-03, 08:25 PM How this car arrived in Estonia is another interesting matter. [/B] Yes, Antwerpen is Netherlands. But, how this car came here, we dont know - maybe from Moscow - like lots of cars??? From Germany (like one of Hitlers cars) I dont know... About Finnish CC - i signed to theyr forum, but not response for 6 months - OK, they are finns, its take time to think...:D But - if i can read this VIN tag numbers - can you specify more accurate history of this car? Liseckas - when you left Lithuania? vanaisa 04-17-03, 08:28 PM Originally posted by vanaisa How this car arrived in Estonia is another interesting matter. Yes, Antwerpen is Netherlands.
