Just wondering how much of a noise difference there is.. i have had intakes on all of my cars before the Escalade and always used volant.. I just want to make sure its the same with this truck that you only hear it when you really step on it.. i like the nice quiet ride and cruising and so forthe.. thanks in advance for any input..

I had one for 3 years, it worked great and did not make much more noise than stock unless full throttle, I know this because I have the stock one back on my truck to trade it in. I have one on order for my 07'. :)

I am glad to hear the same thing. After hearing this...i am going to install one on my EXT when it gets here.

Caddykidd, what about exhaust? Are you going to install and aftermarket exhaust? I have heard the 07 stock and it sounds like a beast! I would like a lil better gas mileage and maybe a lil bit more of an aggresive sound but i dont want it to be loud, after all...it is a LUXURY vehicle.

It's a great intake. I have one on my 05. Very quiet until you floor it.. just my 2 cents

I have a volant intake also... and I agree... I don't hear the difference until I press on the gas. :thumbsup:

Carl, where did you order your Volant from. Since you have it on order...i assume they are already out for the 07s. I am also so assuming that everything in the engine compartment will be the same for my EXT.

I found one on ebay for $266 shipped (Brand New). Cheaper than the normal $280. :thumbsup:

These intakes are spendy. I've searched on other websites, and they run fron $280 to almost $400!!!

I just ordered my Volant from "Stillen". I did it under the assumption that if it fits and 07 Escalade...it will fit my 07 EXT when it gets here. I paid $340, shipping and all.

I might could have found it cheaper on eBay or something but it isnt that big of a deal. I would rather know i am getting something untouched from a reputable place.
