I have a 05 with NAV the paint on the band button has rubbed off does anyone know if I can get a replacment BAND button?

I have the same problem in my '05 esv. The dealer had to replace the entire system. Several months later, the paint on that button (only) is coming off again. Will complain the next time the car goes in and ask for a new system.

Same happened to mine, Just like above me, they replace the whole Nav for me to.

I have this problem to on the band button, the volume know, and a little chippage on the zoom + button too.

It's up to the individual dealers as to decide whether or not to do this repair.
The buttons are not servicable, it requires replacement of the whole unit.

I was told recently to stop replacing radios for this without approval directly from the Service Manager.

The "seek" button on my 6-disc changer in my Avalache started chipping. They replaced the whole unit...during the installation, they scratched one of the buttons on the climate control unit and had to replace it also.
