what do u guys think about 27' inch rims i got an 07 with 24's but them seem everyday i look at them im seeing them smaller and i was seein that at www.rimstop.com (http://www.rimstop.com) they have the package of 4000 for 27's with tires

I saw an 07 with foose 26" shoes and 305/30/26 inch rubber. I believe it had a 2/3 drop in it looked perfect. one more inch would have been too much.As it was it looked as though it would rub like crazy when you turned the wheel. But sitting with the wheels pointing straight ahead was the tightest sh*t I've seen yet, from all angles.

The thing is. You will pay over 3 g's for tires for 26's, where with 27's... you're buying 22" tires that works with the extended flange.

go for the 27's but like everyone else said get the real deals. i got some shitty azuka's and they do the trick but im a poor college kid. If i was working i would either go real or stay stock.
Dont get huge rims if they fake, just my .02. I would rather get a name brand 24 than a larger no name 27.
Just make sure b4 you buy them that they will not rub too much and if they do rub can u fix it so they dont?

i never seen 27's in person do they look a lil bit bigger then 26's or not becuz i seen them in picture and i always see that the 26's look bigger and since the 27 is like a cone that becomes a 22 i was wondering

I wouldn’t :tisk: :tisk: get them even if they are cheaper than 26s. Everyone knows that they are fake. I would rather have the real 26s than those 27s unless you want 28s.my 0.02

Yeah. I think this guy measured his 26's compared to the 27's, and the 26's were bigger and measured at 28". Still Lexani's though, either way. The owner of Lexani has a set of those 26" rims like on that Avalanche, on his brand new 07 Escalade.

I don't know if it's me but doesn't it appear that the 26" on the AVY look bigger than the 27 on the ESCY. Is it the fact that the Avalanch is lowered that makes it seem that way?Or is it because of the Big lip on the 26's.

Those 26's are just clowning on the 27's. I never was a fan of the 27's, to me they just dont look right.

I must be retarded but I don't get it... How does a 22" tire fit a 27" wheel? Or have i misunderstood the terminology.

the rims i was looking at u could buy a flange that looked kind of cheesy to get it up to 28'

just talked to the girl from rimstop and she told that the package of the lexani johnson will come with taxes and everything for 4500 its a great deal i think

It might be a great deal but they look like shit. I would rather buy something that was better quality and looked good than save money and buy some bullshit just so that i could say "i am riding on 27s".

Oh i get it the bead actually seats 2.5 inches below the visable edge of the face.Which means that a 45 series tire looks like a 30 series on the outside.The wheel company needed to mold a cap with the rimsaver toward the middle of the sidewall instead of near the bead as commonly done.

wow this forum has been a complete eye-opener to me and so many others im sure. Please sir Grillz do all of us Cadi owners a favor and keep your 24's over the 27's. if you want to upgrade get the 26's or lower your truck. You can add tint, exhaust, intake, chrome pieces, hitch covers and so many other things to add to your truck that will truely make it stand out. These 27's are going to ruin the look of your truck. Keep us updated. Good deals mean the product is oversold, undersold or just ugly. Either way you get what you pay for!!!

I had 27's on my 04 lade for like 6 months, every pot hole u hit will cost 5 to 6 hundred for a new tire, i took them off and sold them for that reason get 26's are 24's will last longer for as tires goes trust me

27 inch rims sit on a 22 inch tire thats why they look so wierd the tires is pulled over the wheel cuz they have no lip

im sorry but to me brand dont mean a thing.. i mean yea brand name wheels are nice if you need people to know and you have a show car.. but you can have the cheapest set of wheels but at a stop light no one is gonna know the name of the rim.. the average person has no clue from Lexani to American Raciing to RVM.. so in all reality if the wheel looks nice thats all that matters..

Yeah, thats true. Thats why Lexani keeps getting bigger though, they keep introducing new things on the side that enlarge their brand.... toys, tires, clothing, magazine, etc. etc. Asanti Wheels on the other hand, just another brand name wheel that was high priced and overtime got the reputation as a high class wheel, thats why you see Asanti everywhere and people drop jaws when they see them. But in reality, there are a bunch of other brands out there with just as nice of three-piece wheels, sometimes better. But sometimes brand is a lot.

27's in person look a lot bigger, they look as if they hang out of the tire. like the other guy said you need the 22" tire on extended flange, but honestly i'm guessing that would cost a lot, and 26's are hella expensive.
