I have an 04 and have had the differiental overhauled like many of you. The question I have is, on acceleration especially when the engine is pulling (like going up a hill) I hear a loud whistling noise (similar to a tea kettle) but once I stomp on the gas the noise goes away. It seems to do it only when the engine is somewhat "underpowered". By this I mean, when i'm going up an incline or right before the engine downshifts for more power. When its "lacking power" I get that loud whistle, almost like a loose valve or something. The dealer cannot diagnosis the noise, and like everything else they say "this is normal". :thepan: Any input would be of great help.

my '02 does that whistling noise too. I always thought it was wierd, but it never really bugged me.
