I am looking at purchasing a used Escalade and wanted your oppinions.

Out of these two which would you get and why:

02 45k miles bench seat

03 65k miles bucket seats

Both have the 6.0 engine, sunroof, and appear to be in excellent shape. I can get these two at the same price.

Also if you purchase a Lade from a non-Cadillac dealer can you take it there to get certified pre-owned?

When I bought my '02 lade, it came with only 40K miles!

Sounds to me that the '02 with 20K less than the '03, just think, thats 1 full year of driving right there.

My ONLY regret that when I bought MY '02 was that it doesnt have the stock navigation system. But its all good, because I plan on buying aftermarket anyways.

how much are they? but i would say if they have all the same options go for the 02. or try to get the 03 for less.

20K miles is a big difference especially when its on a car that is 1 year newer. I say go the 2002, but thats just me.

I would suggest looking at the Date of Mfg. Normally on the drive side door...it should have a date like 6/02. If the dates are close then I would go with the '02 for the mileage alone. I also like the bench seat over the buckets which would be another reason for me.

Certified Cadillac has to come from a Cadillac Dealer.

Alright... I ended up getting a different 02 Lade that has 33k miles. Here are some of the things it has:

22 Inch Lexani Rims
Alpine touch screen stereo,
Two dvd monitors in the headrest
Playstation
Dual Earthquake Subwoofers
It is also lowered a little

I am nervous about it being lowered. I just don't have a good idea of how it looks next someone... We will see, I will fly out tomorrow to pick it up :) Tell me what you think!
