Hey guys, I just joined the board so be easy on me. I have been searching the board but it looks like most people here have newer Escaldes. My dad has a 1999 Escalade and after seeing how much a Rear Sway bar helped the handling of my car he wanted me to go and see if there were sway bars for his car. I figured there were but there doesnt seem to be many options. Addco sway bars are really cheap and then the only other option seems to be the hotchkiss which is over 500$ for the front and rear sway bars (a little steeper than he was hoping to spend) does anyone know of any better options or have opinions on either of these sets of sway bars. He wants to stop the car from swaying all over the place at highway speeds. It makes my mother sick sometimes its so bad, but hes 60 so ride comfort is a big deal to him.

Let me know guys. Its my first post remember so easy on me about the searching thing if this has been talked about before. I spent about a half hour searching and couldent really find much about the sway bars for the older escalades just a few threads about the eibach sway bars for the newer escalades.

I have the 99 also. When I switched from stock 17's to 20's it helped alot. I also lowered the torison bars . There is very little lean turning and changing lanes. 20" american racing Piranhas taken by cell phone

You might try new shocks. If it is swaying as much as you indicate, I suspect the shocks aren't doing what they are supposed to do. If they're bad, a stiffer sway bar won't help. A good tire/brake shop should be able to help.
