I bought a 6 LED 194 light from superlumination. I pulled the housing for the map lights off and found inside a yellow plastic screw in tab that housed each mao light. I removed this map light holder and attempted to fit the 194 6 LED map light I purchased from superlumination. The yellow holder the map light goes into in almoost like a housing that hold christmas tree light bulbs. I am unable to fit this light into the housing, make it stay or get the light to come on. There has got to be an easier way.

I know we have some lighting guru's here that have already completed this project. PLEASE HELP!!!:worship:



Also I am trying to fit the ridgid loop under dash lights in....what a pain. I snipped them and I am having a hard time with these. I will try again tomorrow...:alchi:

Try contacting LV V. He's done the superlumination lights. He might be able to help.

I took a look at the superlumination site again and saw the bulbs being sold just as I got them, however it puzzles me because it needs something to fit into before it can screw into the map light fixture to light the counsol.

you're at 50! You can try and PM LV V now. Do a search on the V forum for "bright white lights" and you will find the thread and you can find him in there.

Hey Chi...you always seem to have all the light bulb answers for everybody. I'm surprised you haven't done the interior bulbs yourself. They have them in the DTS and it looks real nice. I'll probably do it in a couple months after the initial joy of my new navigation wears off.

yeah... I have the answers, but the motivation has really been lacking. I bought all new golf clubs this spring, so that set me back a few hundo... and now my gf is bugging me for a ring.

I'll break down and do it sometime soon.

Ok I PM'ed him and a few others on that thread who did it.

I am really at a loss on this one. I just can't figure out how to remove the current buld from its 'christmas tree" like holder in order to place the new bulb into it, turn and ....light. :confused:
