have the 3.6L automatic w/Corsa exhaust and am hearing a whine or ring (high pitch) noise when shifting from a complete stop. i have about 30,000 miles on it. anyone else ever have that? if not, does anyone know if it is serious?

The only wining from my 3.6 is from the serpentine engine belts.

That must be it. It totally describes what I am hearing!!!!! Thanx so much kali. I was so afraid of going to the dealer and them telling me that I am hearing things. For some reason the noises always go away when you take them for a test ride:rant2: I printed a copy so they can go right to the problem.

No problem, I was going through them last night since I want to make sure I didn't miss one for my CTS.... :)
