I have 01 STS with 46000miles. when driving the car at more then 5mph there is a noise that can best be describe as the noise one hears when reving the engine up when in park and a shake that comes through the steering wheel and pedals. The noise is not coming from the engine itself that is the best way I can describe the sound. The sound and shake get worse with increased speed and seem to let up a little when the streering wheel is turned only to the right. Please help I am at a complete loss

I would guess your right front wheel bearing is bad.
I would also guess it's the right front hub bearing assembly (http://www.rockauto.com/ref/BCA/Detail2img.html?_513121_FRO.jpg&_513121_BAC.jpg).
The above link will bring you to a picture of an aftermarket bearing assembly for reference purposes. However, if you have to buy it you should buy ACDelco. Rockauto.com (https://www.rockauto.com/) is one Internet site where you can buy the part.

I had the right hub assembly replaced and the nosie is still present. My mechanic talked with the local dealership and was told that they have a bunch of cars on the lot that just make that noise and they can not fix. Does any body have the answer. I can not believe that I have to live with this...........PLEASE HELP
If you are sure it is not engine, throttle or RPM related, then it has to be in the front end. Tire, bearing (elimimated), axle or CV joint.
