Cut out the stock resonator and replaced it with a Maganflow X-pipe. ( I know Dubbed, I was supposed to give it to you) I have the Corsa cat back exhaust system and was pleased with the sound. Now, the X-pipe gave it a higher end sound, more exotic, like a Porsche. I'm not sure if it is what I want, but the performance is there. So now my exhaust comes out the headers, through the X-pipe, through the dual resonators of the Corsa, and out the dual mufflers of the Corsa. I'll update the results after a couple of months.

Higher. That bugs me a bit.

When I had it I called it loud!! Took it off after a week.

So you should probably take another ride in mine and compare sounds before you make your final decision......The only difference in your set up and mine (as far as intake and exhaust) is the X-pipes on mine, right?

.......and all you CTS riders need to show up this time (I don't want to be there alone, and I know Dubbed you were planning on being there but hey vacation is more important IMO!!!) and just to clearify, there was nothing wrong with hanging out with all the V-guys, just very out of my CTS's leauge.... but they did take an interest in my CTS and even wanted a ride!!! :) :bouncy:

I want to see what CTS rides look like with all these mods, since when I was there with only V guys I couldn't say "oh, yeah that would be good on my car".... :eek::alchi:

I have the magnaflow X-Pipe.....it remains high but definatly mellows out a little bit after a few weeks.

I had that exact same set up Headers X pipe to Corsa and I couldn't live with the sound it annoyed me. If you want a good sound that is not high pitch add a dual in dual out muffler right after the X pipe you will love it. That is what I have now and the sound is amazing

I may need to do that. The mod bug has got me again. With the weather clear, it's time to roll out the new mods. I may add a rear spoiler and some interior script, the headers are sounding good to me too.
