If the OIL LIFE RESET message flashes for 10 seconds, the system is resetting. 3-Turn the key to LOCK I hope this helps. Funny thing you asked because I just finished doing the oil change on my Lade. Man did I have a hard time getting the oil filter off. It took me about 1hour just for the filter. I have a tool to get the filter off Jr. You should pick one up. Takes around a good 3 seconds to get the filter off. Boombotz 05-14-06, 10:15 PM I reset mine differently. I do mine thru the DIC. I hit the gas symbol on the steering wheel until I see the percentage of oil life and then hit the arrow key on the steering wheel to reset it. My owners manual says to do it your way. I do know my way works too. 84caddy 05-15-06, 01:04 PM I reset mine differently. I do mine thru the DIC.
