Hello all, my name is Q. And I wont lie to you, the only reason I am here is because I want to put a 472 into my Mustang.
I have access to a nice 472 on the cheap and was wondering if you guys could point me in the direction of some suppliers of performance parts for them. Also, if any of you have experiance in something like this, I would love to hear about it. Tricks or tips would GREATLY be appreiacated.
The car will have a plate system with at least a 200 shot on it, and there is actually the possibility of a small turbo setup getting stuck on it. I'm far from a fool when it comes to cars, but this is an entirely new engine to me. I have never messed with one before.
I have heard stories of guys with a cam and hand ported heads pushing 9 second quarters. Any truth to that?
