Ok, I don't know anything about the disks or anything since I don't have a Nav in my car but on the V-forum there is some information that you can probably use (if there is no difference between the CTS and CTS-V Nav units).... Try to find the threads by HeavyMetals.... he's the go to guy on the info for that.... I think!!! :bigroll: trying to help out.....

I've got a mid-05 DVD Nav in my car and I am using the Zenrin 6.4 with no issues. I have no idea if the new 7.0 or 7.1 disks for the Infinity '06's will work or not.

This topic is extensively discussed in this thread here:
http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums/cadillac-cts-v-series-forum/53916-nav-dvd-infiniti-zenrin-v6-4-a-4.html

Read through that thread carefully, and you should have a complete understanding of the 'issues'!

Short answer: The V6.4 disc will work to display map detail, but on older (Pre-'05) NAV systems you can't enter destinations due to a software glitch. I have an '04 and it does not work in my system. There is supposedly a software upgrade disc that will fix this problem but it's still on backorder with GM.

Hope that helps!

Wow....I would have sold it way cheaper

Thats what I figured when he told me "he would love to help another supporting member out". Still, its cheaper than paying full price

According to Heavy, it was really difficult to burn? I think he said he had to have special equipment and software to do it?

I don't have that so I havn't tried it...

Just a dual layer DVD burner, Dual Layered DVD, free software you can get off the internet, and burn it at the slowest 1x speed.....pretty easy, but wasted a few discs figuring out to use the slower speed.....I kept thinking it was the software when it just needed to be tamed down a bit
