I believe this is an allowable combination, and leaves my speedo the same. I am curious if there is a noticable bulge out:eek: , or if it looks acceptable:thumbsup: on the 7.5 rims.

Thanks

Many of the people here have 245/45-18s, 245/30-20s, 245/35-20s. A little wide for a 7.5" wheel but most of the 'sticking out' would come from the offset of the wheel. Just make sure the wheel offset is like a +40-45mm.

Thanks for the reminder about the offset. If nobody has actually tried this combination, I will have the lads at the tire store mount a set and try it out. I already own the wheels, and am happy with them. Thanks

I have 235s on the 7.5 wheels and they look good IMO.

245s would probably be too wide, but it's doable.

Good choice, looks like the V's wheels with 4 more spokes. Clean slighty agressive look  . Can you give some details to cost and where you purchased?

i had this dilema when I got my 18s...for me personally 7.5 is too narrow for a 245...you want at least 8 inch wide wheel for a 245 or do a 235 wide for a 7.5.

245 on a 7.5 looks ok, but to me it bulges too much. I had the tire bulging look. If i had 8.5 inch wide wheels on a 245 that would be ideal.

Member, those look really good. I see the speedo is off by about 1.6%, so that should be fine. How is the ride? What tire is that. Toyo? Thanks

Are you looking a chrome or polished for purchase. Chrome really makes the car pop on dark colors, It's worth the marginal expense.

245's on the stock offset wheels would likely require spacers to reduce the offset. The issue is that 245's are 10mm wider on the inside (and the outside) than 225's. If you put your hand on top inside of your stock front tire, you'll feel the upper pinch bolt from the suspension. Try to get your finger in between it, and your tire. You'll see that adding 10mm is cutting it very very close to constant rubbing when the tire is in motion.

On the rear, it would likely work, but then the fronts and rears would be different sizes.

The wheels are NEX-O TS 10, I got them from www.wheelmax.com , they were $159 a piece at the time. The wheels are 18X7.5, 45mm offset. Tires are 235/45/18 Kumho ECSTA SPT, $116 a piece from www.tirerack.com. I liked the price and since I'm not an agressive driver I guess just about anything will do for me. They do tend to flat spot over night but after a half a mile it's a non issue. BE WARNED, the wheels are 5X114.3 bolt pattern.
