I have a 2005 Escalade that has the XM Stereo Nav unit and I want to activate the XM Service but I can't find my radio ID........I called XM and they said to go to channel 0 but I can't get the unit to go to channel 0.....can anyone out there give me some insight on this? I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

The one thing that I did not like about the XM radio set up is that you cannot punch in a station number. You have to use the channel search to find your channel and pre-set them. You can find channel 0 by using the manual channel changer/selector - the buttom turn knob and scroll up or down until you get to channel 0.

Just use one of the Xm remotes that were designed for the home or car recivers.

Switch to the XM band, if your XM is not active you will get 3 channels.
0, 1 and 247.
If you cannot get these channels there is something wrong and you need to return the vehicle to your dealer for repair.
If you don't see XM as you press the "band" button then either the DRR (receiver) is not working or you don't have an XM equipped vehicle.

Thanks for the info. I have my remote for my MyFi - will try it out.
