01-24-04, 09:40 PM

been watching barret jackson all day , got to thinkin ....

for me i would have to get the indy 500 pole winning 1968 Lotus 56 turbine indy car driven by joe leonard :worship: ......

01-24-04, 09:44 PM
fully modded twin turbo 350z, fully blown 396 '69 camaro (Because a fully blown 427 would be too much ;) ) My car fully restored with bumpin' system and all, a gas card.

No single choice, just lots of different ones. Probably all GM, both new and old. To start: '05 STS, '04 CTS-V, '05 Vette, '66 Vette, '69 Camaro, '04 GMC Sierra Denali. Oh, and a home with enough acreage for a huge garage and barn.

01-24-04, 10:21 PM
fully built and worked F-250 with a powerstroke

01-24-04, 10:42 PM
I'd probably be the first person to do a frame off resto on an 83 Caddy. Then I'd buy an XLR, Z06, Marauder, and an assortment of old Caddies.

01-25-04, 12:39 AM
XLR in that light beige color. (As seen in the recent "Vision" magazine)
1970 Dodge Challenger R/T, restored to original condition, Panther Pink
1971 Olds 442 w30 in Matador Red, white seats (like dad had)
Jaguar XK in silver
Cadillac Escalade with optional armor plating (for small arms fire) ;) silver
Viper or Ford GT40 (new model)
Toss-up between Hemi Durango, OR Acura TL
'59 or '60 Cadillac convertible, original condition.

Do I have to stop there!!??

01-25-04, 02:59 AM
Would build my caddy like I described in the "Modify your Car Here" thread. 70 Coue Deville Convertible, modified. ;) Ferrari Enzo, 05 Mustang, 68 GTO, 67 Camaro, 67 Mustang, 88 Bronco built for muddin, 98 Ram 1500 built for Baja, but, with the Cummins deisel as the powerplant, and so many more vehicles...

01-25-04, 03:57 AM
An unlimited budget... mmm.

I'd find out how much it'd cost to pay off Lutz for the Cadillac Sixteen. With additional refinement from where it is now. Or possibly Sixteen #2 (the first production one... ):coolgleam:

01-28-04, 12:33 PM
I'd get the:

2004 Cadillac CTS-V
2004 Black Cadillac Escalade with 5 spoke, blingin rims
1970 Chevelle would be siiiiick (seems to be popular here)
2003 Mercedes S500 AMG

Ferrari Enzo - Who wouldn't want one of these?

Lamborghini Murcielago - Beautiful car

1966 GTO - Already got one, but I want all numbers matching, midnight blue with white interior, 389 tri-power

There are so many more and I can make a list of about 50 exotics I would want but I'll leave it with these four for now.

If money were no thought... I'd take my '68 to the best resto/mod shop I could find and have it taken completely apart and then rebuilt it, either with completely refinished parts or their modern equivalents. Modern front/rear AC, dual power front buckets (something with more contour than my couch to make those long trips easier on the back), a console w/a HUGE modern stereo hidden in it, new gauge cluster with a tach and WORKING clock, real wood on the new custom dash bezel with oil pressure gauge, temperature gauge, fuel gauge, and an amp meter where the stereo used to be, sound proofing everywhere, fuel injection, full roller valve train, forged internals, aluminum pieces everywhere to save weight, Allison 5-speed overdrive tranny from a GM truck, 17" or 18" wheels, airbag suspension, anti-roll bars, big brembo sport brakes with at least 13" vented rotors, limited slip heavy duty rear-end with a lower gearing, tinted glass... everything would be refinished or repainted and in top shape... the exterior would look all stock except for the wheels, lower ride height, and Cadillac "Red Line" metallic paint. Oh, and I'd have the padded top peeled off and the roof painted too! I could go on and on...

06-25-04, 03:43 PM
I would just be happy with one of those Neiman Marcus edition XLR's. I love that unique purple/grey color they put on them. :)

Of course with unlimited resources, I could probably convince GM to hand over the Sixteen (and if not, I would just buy the whole frickin' company. Muahahahahahaaa!!).

06-25-04, 04:04 PM
(In no Particular order)

1. Lamborghini Gallardo
2. Make the Catera better than a CTS-V - if you get my drift ;)
3. Ferrari 360 Modena, Supercharge it.
4. Ferrari 612 Scaglietti
5. Get a 1991 or 1992 Oldsmobile Toronado Trofeo again and really do stuff to it.
6. Porsche 911 RUF (1998)
7. TVR Tuscan Speed Six (In reflex charcoal color)
8. BMW 745 "Alpina B7"

The one most wanted, would be the ... erm ...:hide:

06-25-04, 04:16 PM
2. Make the Catera better than a CTS-V - if you get my drift ;)

So you would swap out the suspension, engine, electronics, brakes, interior, and body? To make one better than the V doesn't leave too much 'Catera' left...

Slick Black Cadillac
06-25-04, 04:19 PM
Mybach 62... oh and a Cadillac Sixteen.... both black

06-25-04, 04:20 PM
LOL the body's the best part... i'd keep that.

06-25-04, 04:26 PM
Cl 600

06-25-04, 04:42 PM
Old Car would have to be a '56 Packard Caribbean Convertible.

New car would have to be a Cadi XLR or a 300C convertible (even though they aren't out yet)

Steve B.

06-25-04, 04:51 PM
I'm thinking Escalade ESV--of course, with an unlimited budget I could also build that new LONG garage I want.

06-25-04, 08:03 PM
I'd do a full frame-off restoration to my family's 1959 Eldorado Biarritz, 1 of 99 with bucket seats. Then I'd take a 2004 DTS and make it a coupe.

06-25-04, 10:52 PM
Of course, the best part of having an unlimited supply of money is that you wouldn't have to choose. :)

I'll take one of everything please.

06-26-04, 12:28 AM
a 1959 62 series cadillac convertable with red paint and a white top with white interior also a 1965 red a white pontiac GTO convertable you know for one for crusin and one for hot roddin plus a full resto on my 1977 cadillac sedan deville but a little more power under the hood.

06-26-04, 04:00 AM
so many options... i would go with a baldwin motion 69 camaro....guarentee(sp?) 11'S in the quarter or your money back ...when the car was new in 69. or i would take any of those specialty cars from the 60's. i would also like a supercharged 96 brougham. restore my 66 chevy p/u. and have a whole bunch of projects(toys).

06-26-04, 08:28 AM
This is basically what my garage would contain if I had all the money I wanted....but then again once I do get it I may add some more.:)

1975 Cadillac Coupe Deville (Engine Fully Built)
1973-75 Chevy Caprice Convertible (Big Block)
1973-75 Chevy Impala Coupe (Big Block)
2004 Cadillac Deville DTS (Vogues;Carriage roof;etc)
2005 Ford F-250 6.0 Powerstroke Diesel
2005 Ford GT
2004 Lincoln Town Car Ultimate (Vogues;Carriage roof; etc)

06-26-04, 06:19 PM

06-26-04, 06:36 PM
Thanks!! Id have my Caddy's and Lincolns no other way......YUCK to the non-Carriage roof Caddy's and Lincolns.LOL

06-26-04, 06:37 PM
I would take the old VW flatfour outta my tube dune buggy and have a Cadillac 4.9 V-8 put in. I can already light the tires up with the flatfour..so the 4.9 .........:bonkers:.

06-26-04, 07:11 PM
Made this wit the load of time i got on my hands.....this is what would basically be in my garage.
