Well, I'm really tempted to purchase a new sts v8 rwd. The one I am looking at is a blk on blk demo car with 900 miles on it.
How much can/should I deduct for a demo?
It has the luxury package, 20 inch chrome spoke rims, 265/60's toyo tires, mesh grille, blk on blk.
base 51,532 + 1290 mesh grille + 3000 wheels = 55,822 + tax (4,605) = (60,427).
If I could get 55K out the door, what do you think?

My deal is for a v6 but here it is
06 STS V6 with Luxury perf package + 18" option wheels (has nav)
I paid 41,500 after the 3500 rebate which was applied to the downpayment + tax and reg.
The reason I did not go with the V8 is the cost difference.

I understand that dealers have a factory cash rebate of $3500. If this is true, price should be dealer invoice amount minus $3500. I got my 06 for $500 below dealer invoice minus rebates. Hope this helps.

how do you know you got it $500 below invoice. Because the dealer told you or because you say the invoice? i am not asking in a rude tone just inquireing.

Yes, I saw the invoice. But, before I started shopping, I got the invoice price on the main vehicle and all the options and upgrades from the car sites, such as Edmunds and Vehix.com. Knowing what the rebates were, I just started at $1000 below invoice minus the rebates and sent emails to 5 or 6 Chicago dealers. The first one that bit, I negotiated with and settled the price before I went to the dealer. Made everything much easier for both the dealer and myself.
