A couple weeks ago I bought a Dell pocket pc. Really slick little gadget, as long as I can steal wireless access from someone, I can do anything.
While I was surfing around looking for free software, I caught an ad for Skype. What's the big deal for Vonage and all this VOIP crap they're trying to charge you for?
Skype to Skype is FREE. Skype to an outside line is only .02 cents per minute in most places. I tried it the other day and the quality was much better than cellular.
Not that I have anyone a long distance away that I need to talk with, but it seems to me like everyone's going to hop on this bandwagon within a year or two. I do a lot of conference calls with customers, and I'm sure they're having to pay a fee every time they set one up.
Your thoughts?
