well this friday was "cinco de mayo" and this weekend happened to be close to alot of my coworkers birthday. (tommy hilfiger)
so we had a lil beach trip planned to wrightsville beach nc, about 2 hours drive away. the plan was, go to the beach, get a room or a couple of them, hit the beach, get dinner, hit the clubs, and come back to the room to get drunk, it was seven of us.
heres what actually happened.
i was able to convince my boss to let me off at 12:30 so i went, and gave my car pymt while some of the girls were gettin tatoos. had time to go home shower pack etc. we ended up leavin at quarter past 3 which was waaaaay later than anyone had planned, and way later that i would have liked.
anyways the drive up there was great it was me, Jasmine,Lisa and my lady Julieanne in my Cadillac, and Genaro, Geryca, and Yadira in a VW Jetta (96?). we were doin bout 75-85 the whole way, which for some reason got boring quick, so as soon as traffic would clear Genaro would "test my speed governor" which not only entertained us, but made for a faster trip. as soon as we'd get into traffic though we'd slow our roll. well, at one point we were in traffic, so we had slowed to about 77 which still allowed us to pass all the traffic sufficiently, but which IMO wasnt an outrageous speed. i notice this red 2006 mazda 6 keepin along side of me even after i had dropped to seventy then gone back up to eighty, so Julieanne says, "i think hes tryin you" (i silently smiled cause most other girls would be like, god yall are gonna race huh? all sarcastic like) and i said yea i think so too, so i climbed to 85 quickly, he still kept up, i knew it was on so, as soon as we left traffic i stomped it! homeboy got left behind, bad, Genaro was in front of him too but not by as much (in the jetta). we caught traffic again, so we slowed, anyways we played with him the rest of the way to wilmington. till we turned to go to wrightsville and he kept straight to carolina beach.fun.:thumbsup:
well we get to the rooms (2 bedroom suite) close to 5, we checked in, got inside and relaxed for a few minutes, then Julieanne Jasmine and I went to the ABC store while the rest of the crew stayed back and prepared Jello shots and stuff, we get back and prepared some drinks and had a few, then we were talkin about goin to dinner then the club since it was too late for the beach already, well we ended up havin a lil too much fun gettin started drinkin. we still had to eat tho, so they took a break from drinkin and got dressed to eat. me and julie went down to the pool for a lil bit, DAMN that water was cold. we drank some more before dinner, and got to Carrabas (sp?) MESSED UP! it was so fun, i dont think we were obnoxiously drunk either. well we went back to the suite and everyone drank themselves to sleep pretty early.
saturday, half the crew left early cause they had to work in the morning, so the people who came in the jetta left in the jetta at like 8 am
the rest woke up at close to eleven, went to walmart developed some digicam pics, then went and walked on the beach for a lil then got lunch and came home to be at work by 5
it was an awesome weekend cause we were all drunk enough to feel great yet noone threw up and noone had a hangover. i only was able to upload a few pics for now but ill upload more later
also, i realize this is a pretty random thread and lotsa people wont even care about it but hey this is the lounge and i had to share my weekend.
