Tailfin 05-08-06, 12:41 PM E55 just means the throttle position sensor is misadjusted. You'll need to calibrate it. I've posted how to do this on a few threads...thinking of making a full-fledged tip of it if I get time lol...here's one spot... My 2nd post here: http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums/ht4100-4-1-4-5-4/73424-just-died.html E60 means the cruise control is engaged while the car is in park or neutral... If you go to P.2.3 (after .7.0, press LO, then HI until you get to it), and wiggle the P/N switch (someone chime in here and tell him where it is because I'm not sure lol), and if it changes with the wiggling, the wiring needs securing or replacing. HUF 05-08-06, 11:22 PM These two codes may be caused by the same problem - cruise cable does not let the throttle blades to close. Make sure the blades can close freely. Tailfin, The PRNDL switch is on top of the transmission. | |
