: ZF Servotronic II performance gearing

I have another question about options in the STS. Can anyone tell me their thought on ZF Servotronic II performance gearing and variable-ratio electronic control? 1st, besides the brief explanation on the caddy website, what does it really do? Anything worth caring about? 2nd, how can I tell if a STS has it. (Besides driving it around).

Does the emblem on the grill have anything to do with the option packages? In both the 2005 and 2006 STS a few of the grills have a special emblem that is a cicle with a caddy emblem printed on it where as the other as a more traditional "lifted" emblem. I have seen a few 2005s with the special emblem but they only had the 7 spoke wheels.

I suppose my goal is to get a 2005 or 2006 with the premium lux performance package, but I am having trouble deciphering between the different trims. Thanks a lot for your help in advanced.

Well mmm....

Regarding the emblem... It's only a sign to tell if this car has the ACC "Adaptive Cruise Control" system (Radar) or not...

If it is the black circle with Caddy logo printed, then it has ACC...

If not, then it doesn't have that Radar...

Regarding ZF servotronic, I had the same question before getting my STS... you will find answers to your question in these two threads:
