: Competitive Driving Mode Inoperable

I just noticed that attempting to put my 05 V into "Competitive Driving Mode" is not working. When I push the traction control button twice within 5 seconds it simply cycles the traction control on and off - but no message on the display (as before) that I am now in the comp driving mode. Same result when I push the button in the dash. I recently installed new wheels and tires with tire pressure sensors. My TPS is "reading" the stack of tires in my garage, but not all of them. Sometimes two wheels, sometimes three. Could it be that the system unable to monitor the tire pressure sensors is preventing it from going into comp driving mode? I am curious if anyone else has experienced this or has a simple work-around. Thanks!

Re-program the TPS for the ones on the car. The FAQ knows all.....

I have had that happen as well. Sometimes it simply goes off after working on the car but always seems to just go back on by itself. So far it's all good.

Correct - if the system finds an error in any of the TPS readings (missing, too high psi, too low psi, etc) then Comp mode will not be allowed.

Thanks. I found the answer in the FAQs after I posted the question. I moved the wheels with the sensors to the back of my basement. Hopefully that is far enough!
