Just curious as to how many of you with all your "mod hell" perks actually drive it daily?

I use mine as a second car. I drive it for short errands sometimes on weekdays but I take it out for drives at least once on the weekend. I do use it to drive to San Diego on occasion when I go there for business and I have taken it to Laughlin once.
My car is black/black with the polished upgrade rims and rear spoiler. My only mods are LPE cold air kit, Corsa and a Stealth tune.

7 days a week & about 20-100 miles a Day & loveing every Min. of it. :thumbsup:

Daily driver, but not Mod'd to hell, only purgatory. :)

daily driver for the 6 mths out of the year that I am home...

I'm lucky if I get in mine twice a week.I drive a 97F150,now if the V was 4wheel drive,probably.

It's a weekend or evening car for me.

Every day unless rain is imminent.
And even on those days if it already needs washed.

Most days unless it's going to snow!:bouncy:

Spends most of it's life sleeping in the Garage - has about 6,500 miles on it.

not me. had mine for a year and only have 1500km on it and most of those are dyno pulls

DD, but its mostly stock, with only a ghetto intake and a magnaflow.

Daily Driver for me also... 2005 CTS-V loaded including FG2's, just hit 2 years old with slightly under 35k miles, MOD: Maggie, Magnaflow, UUC, AV pedals, HOT Bars, Specter spoiler, CCW SP600's, Volant CAI (for sale), Specter Bushings, SW LT's and RT CATs going on next week. Serious tune to follow :-)

Not on rainy days. Use the ranger on those days.

Everyday also on rainy days.

All summer but garaged in winter. Nearly 30k miles since May '04 plus a couple of trips to the track.

Maggie, UUC, Corsa, Specter, Stealth V, FG2, LPE CAI, Wide Band O2 and probably a couple of other things I'm forgetting :)

17K miles: Original diff (no whine), no clunks, original radiator, original nav, nothing replaced or broken but the F1's and the sail panels. :)

Modded to hell & drive the hell out of it everyday!!!

Everyday, unless more than 1" of snow. Modded to all hell and I drive it like I'm driving urby's beast!

Let me fill you in on the fun in the snow. I drive everday, sun, rain, snow, whatever.

2 Days p/week in nice weather only. Other than that, she sits covered up.

Four days a week for the commute to Ocala since I traded the '04 CTS for a '06 XLR-V which is now my weekend car.:)

Every day. I drove it in the snow also. Got around ok, the only real issue in the snow is the clearance up front:)

Yep, everyday. Just about the only mod is a carseat. My daughter loves it also, she says wheeee.

Car's never seen snow or rain......collectable car IMHO......

Drive a little four-door Ranger as the D/D.....Funny though, the "V" gets better gas mileage as compared to the little 4.0 liter V-6.

Everyday, about 700-800 miles a week!!!


And loving every second of it!

I take the '91 Toyota Camry DX the 2 miles to work where it sits under the Southern California sun all day, then drive the CTS-V the 40 mile round trip each night picking the kids up from swim team (the freeways open up nicely for the 8:30 pm brisk drive home).

All day, every day. Showing 63k miles now.

Once I get the Lex back, it will take more of a break.

2004 black on black, limo tinted windows, 20 Iforge rims, NX dry 100 shot, bottle heater, all the accessories for the nitrous, Volant intake. Had the car about a year, bought used with 11K and know have 17K. Not a daily driver, it sits in Houston in a garage and covered up, and I currently work in Milwaukee Wi. So it gets driven for about 4-5 days every 2 or so months.

Dyno was 343rwhp with tune on motor
With 100shot it was 468rwhp.

Heck I have only used the gas 3-4 times. Then on the dyno also, so maybe 5 times total.

I have a daily driver 93 mercury topaz LOL, and my other toy is a 2006 Raven R6. Which I have been turning my mod money to

Mine is a daily driver, although not heavily modded. I sometimes wish I had more money, so I could buy another car to us as a daily driver, and give this beauty a rest. Well. Actually, I always wish I had more money.

Daily driver for me. I got it in March, have 2000 miles on her already.

Daily driver in the summer, put up for the winter months.

Daily. Stock except for iCAGS & UUC. 6000 mi since November. I'm gonna start riding my FXRT soon though. 50mi/gal is attractive nowadays.

My daily driver since February '04. Four years in North Dakota teaches you not to be affraid of snow or ice especially if you had a '67 vette at the time. Besides, I just get to wash and wax the "V" more often!!!! :highfive:

Mine's a daily driver. Rain, snow, you name it. 4/12 months old, 8500 miles. No mods except Hankook Ice Bear tires. No issues in the 4 times I drive it in the snow. Four times out on the auto-x course and kicked all but very skilled drives in C5 Z06's with sticky tires on them - even with the Ice Bears. It's time to break out the F1's and see what she can really do!

06, daily driven all 600 miles of it. I'll probably end up doing a small cam and headers or a supercharger. Shit, who knows, maybe both!

DD, any wxr up to an inch or two of snow....no snow shoes here and serious elevation changes. Absolutely a mess in the snow without the right rubber. I'm waiting to here from some Canadians I've heard running serious snow tires.

It's the wife's daily driver.

My '04 V is a hardcore daily driver, rain, snow whatever. This time of year it is my fishing vehicle. 41k miles, no mods except Hawk pads (no dust).

It is either the V or the '68 GTO. The V draws the tough duty. Even with its weak points (diff whine, rough shifter) the car is a blast. I've been fortunate to have some fun cars, the V wins for the most enjoyable.

Looking forward to an LS-7.

Daily driver year round (at least that is my intention as I've only had it for about a month so far). Now I don't mind the daily commute so much.

Daily driver with the rumble of corsa! Run thru rain ,sleet, snow(Snow tires) but stay away from hail. Three people at work got nailed two weeks ago with one estimate of $3,400.00!!!

9 months of ownership. 2700 miles. Magnaflow Catback system. Put stock air box back on. Driven to Vegas twice. Sits in the garage with a cover on her and watches me build a new 06 road race bike. Driven maybe twice a month. F$ck'n Sad IMO...
