Well today marked the offical end of my time at the cadillac dealership. Last friday i had quit , becuse of an issue with my boss , and a very unprofessional temper tantrum he threw. Monday they (my coworkers) had called and wanted me to come in and talk to the boss. By the end of the day i was back to work with them. There was never any appoligies made for what happend friday. It didnt feel right in the least bit. I knew it inside , but i was once again trying to make other people happy. Coarse when your doing something that deep down you know isnt right you just dont have your heart into it anymore. Most of the week i just layed low , and kept kinda quiet and to myself. I sure didnt want to be yelled at again . So the excuse today to fire me was that im depressed.

I think it would have been beatter if i hadnt have come back ...that was my mistake , and he knew it and knew damn well fireing me would screw me over.

In my mind im just thinking that in the grand scheme i bacily gave them a weeks notice , i was activly searching for a job all this week and had no intetion of staying any longer then i had to. So its in no way hirt my feelings and i acutally feel realy decent right now that i no longer work there ....Dare i say i feel a bit lighter ....

Well sorry to hear things end in that manner, but it does sound like it's for the best with that manager in place. Have you gotten any leads on another job yet ?

They fired you because you were depressed? That's not a good reason to fire anyone!

I am glad you are outta there Stoney.... that dealership sucks, I know, I've delt with them many of times. I bought my current DeVille from them and after that experience swore never to return.

Tom Cruise would have prescribed time off at a Scientology center. Brook Shields didn't take his advice either.

Did you leave any parting gifts?

Stoneage_Caddy

i left 2 parting gifts beside my other 2 parting gifts left last friday ..nother 20 feet of contenitals finest left in the concrete ...

maybe my boss just liked seeing the cadillac doing smoky burnouts ?

i went 4 hours unempolyed , and i now have 2 jobs ive been hired for , ford litterally hired me in less then one minute , never reading my app or resume , it didnt settle well with me at all ...they hired me as a new car slaesmen , wasnt what i wanted but ive always wondered if i could be the next sandy.....so i went to the local chevy dealer i frequent ....had a great time with the new car manager , and he has pulled the trigger also ....he was also appualed at my ford horror story and told me to not even go back there ...he belives i have what it takes to sell cars , but i told him im very nervous about it as ive never done such things ...

So im going with chevy , i feel most confortable with GM products , if i have to sell something it beatter be something i like ....Im looking at it as a temorary gig till i can get in with perice/oshkosh fire apparatus (where i want to be with a career)....But i think im gonna have a damn good time with chevy , even knownin sandys scary storys .....

Sorry, all female bartenders in my clubs... plus any jobs I could come up with in my company are going to be in Miami.

There is alot of money to be made selling cars... if your good at it.

Just make sure you don't get stuck trying to sell SUV's right now.

Hmm, don't want to be negative but I don't see that going much of anywhere. Maybe it's just that I have a bad image of car salesmen, almost laid one out on the pavement yesterday before his boss came in and saved his ass. Good luck anyway.

like i say dave , its temporary ....as soon as i can get out of the dealership life i am ....it aint great i tell ya .....but the firetruck group is still takeing there sweet ass time , so untill i can get that sorted and get moved down there i still need a job to get my finaces where i want them so i can make the move more confortably....
