 I just LOVE LOVE LOVE Boston Legal.

I think that show is amazing. Its Funny, Suspensefull, Sad and stunning all in one.

Not to mention its in HD (cant beat that)

I just think James Spader and Willam Shatner make a great team.

I was just wondering what TV shows everyone else likes.

(I cant wait for more hd channels)

THE OFFICE!!!!

I might give Boston Legal another try. I saw the pilot and hated it, but thats usually how I initially react to David E Kelly shows.

They've just started (we're up to Episode 3) showing Lost Series 2 over here.
Love it!

Big fan of CSI and CSI Miami (not so much NY).

2 and a Half Men, Friends

1) another vote for BL - usually well written, well acted. Shatner is having a ball on it, try to catch all the inside Star Trek jokes...

2) Two and a Half Men - Charlie Sheen plays himself. I love Holland Taylor as the mom - she's cracked me up ever since Bosom Buddies.

3) Penn & Teller's Bullshit on Showtime.

4) Mythbusters on Discovery

I have to admit that I've never watched a full episode of:
Lost
SouthPark
ER
The O.C.
Alias
Medium
CSI anything
American Idol
Survivor anywhere

Medium
Ghost Whisperer
ER
Amazing Race
The deadliest catch
Deal or No Deal
Close to Home
Commander and Chief
House
Desperate Housewives
Grey's Anatomy

I watch others, but these are the ones I most enjoy!

I'm also addicted to the entire Law and Order universe. Jack McCoy is a crazy SOB! Dont mess with him!

I enjoy TV in HD quality with no ads: http://www.eztvefnet.org/

The only show I absolutely have to watch is 24. I hope Jack wastes that assbag Logan. I watch Mythbusters, the Sunday morning car shows and whatever is on the History Channel too. I like Law and Order SVU, its the most realistic of the three. I guess I could throw in The Sopranos too, even though I'm kind of on the fence about that show.

I don't watch much TV anymore, but looking at my TiVo, most of my shows are from Discovery or Cartoon Network (I loves me the anime).
Boondocks is worth watching on Adult Swim, but sadly it's not as good a selection of shows as it used to have...

I download a lot of TopGear and Pinks too. Both are very interesting shows and Jeremy never fails to make me laugh..

I play in a 15 to 20 person tournament EVERY Saturday night. $20 buy in plus $5 bounty for knocking someone out. Start with 2 tables at 6:30pm and usually play until 2:00am. Unless someone calls my all in at an inopportune time. Then it's an early night. The guys and gals that I play with are very skilled. You MUST win every hand you should, plus about 6 you shouldn't have. The key is reading your opponent and knowing when to push and when to fold.

I love watching the "pros" play. Some are very good, but some are downright scarey good. I love when they announce what the other player has. Blows me away.

I don't watch alot of TV. Well it's always on since I need noise for my brain to work but I'm rarely paying much attention.

I think my favorite shows are WWE Monday Night Raw and Friday Night Smackdown. No, I don't take them seriously at all, I know it's staged. Yet I enjoy watching them anyway, it's unexplainable.

Nova on PBS and some related cool science shows
Penn and Teller's Bullshit is great from the 3 that I've seen
The Simpsons have been kicking ass for almost as long as I have
The Daily Show
Family Guy is good too, then they took the whole show, changed it a bit and came out with a pile of putrid trash known as American Dad. Oh how I loathe that show.

For TiVo users -
TiVo launched Product Watch today, a service offering on-demand ads to its subscribers. On-demand commercials, who'd a thunkit? :bang2:

"Traditional TV ads are a turnoff to many, interrupting the flow of a program. But TiVo is betting that viewers will use its on-demand ad service to research products or services they are thinking about buying -- much as people search the Web for information on potential purchases. 'People have gotten comfortable using electronic media to search for ads and product information,' says Tom Rogers, TiVo's chief executive officer, referring to how consumers use the Web. 'Now the medium they spend the most time sitting in front of gives them the opportunity to do that.' "

Add another vote for Boston Legal. Definitely my favorite show with these line-ups. Better than "The Practice" ever dreamed of being. Denny Crane RULES!

I like the Sopranos too, but I don't count that as fair competition for network television. It's in a different league.

Lately the West Wing has been outstanding. It's a shame they let that one die, because it was the best thing on TV during the first three years. I'm hoping for a quality spin-off.

"House" is a good show when Sela Ward is on it. When she's not on it gets predictable, but still better than average.

2-1/2 Men is walking a tightrope of sexual euphemisms that you probably shouldn't say on television. It cracks me up, but I still can't believe it took Raymond's slot. Brilliant writing but it probably won't last much longer.

I also like NCIS. For some reason I can identify with agent Jethro Gibbs. I want to slap a lot of people in the back of the head when they're stupid. I used to be Denozo, now I'm Gibbs. Scary.

I can do without the Housewives, desperate or not. It was fun for a while, but I outgrew it.

All the CSI's are great. You don't have to watch them regularly to enjoy them. Three nights a week, whenever you're in the mood one is probably on. Saturday nights we get two re-runs after the 10:00 news.

I forgot to add in "Spin City". I really love watching at one on FX at 8AM. I didn't like it when I was younger, but I didnt get the jokes as much then. It's very witty and smart. Micheal J Fox is a god. It was never as good when he was replaced by Sheen.

IMO- MTV has deffinately lost its appeal. They run the same shows daily for 6 months at a time. The quality of their shows is nothing, as in they have all become the same from season to season, episode to episode. Who wants to watch programing like parental control and date my mom. The Real world, road rules, are all the same now, and shows like super sweet 16, 8th and oceans are just depicting how superficial the youth is becoming. Maybe i am gradually growing out of MTV like i did Nickelodeon 10 yrs ago, but maybe it is just in time.

I gotta gree with you there. They re-run shows ALLLLLLLLLLLLLL the time. Over, and over, and over, and over! It drives me NUTS!! There shows are meaningless, yet I can't stop watching some of them.

I hate that "Parental Control" show, you can tell it's all BS and it is so scripted. Same with "Date My Mom", totally stupid. I watch the "Real World", "Road Rules", "Sweet 16" (mainly to just see how spoiled brats act...I can't stand when they get all snotty with their parents, and their parents let them, and then buy them an $80,000 car the next day!). I also like "Punk'd" and "Wild 'n Out". It's like, the shows are annoying, yet I still watch them

Hmm, I think I'm between 0 and 1 on that scale as well, but I can't remember the last time I watched something actually "on" TV, as in cable. Almost all I watch are movies, or series which I have burned here and there (sci-fi nerd :hide: ). I'm in phase one.... and I'm utterly spoiled by my HD DVR, and my 60" LCD.... I haven't seen a commercial in ages. I find it difficult to watch live tv, the commercials.... when you get used to "zipping" them with the FF button, it becomes amazing how many there really are, when you can't zip them...

But I read a lot, and then there's the XBox 360....

Anyway, this is what's on my record list right now:
24 (does prez Logan look a little like Nixon??)
CSI:Miami
Mythbusters
Law& Order:Criminal Intent
House
World Poker Tour
World Series of Poker
Celebrity Poker Showdown (I think... the one with Phil Gordon co-hosting... you can actually learn a lot by watching bad players play poker)

The glory of HD is fantastic....when you see The Masters in HD brilliance, it takes your breath away....or MOnday NIght Football.... Discovery HD... it's amazing. I'll be first in line for an HD-DVD player....
