When you recalibrate the TPS system using the manual do you let air out of the TPS valve stem on the back of the wheel or the normal valve stem on outside of wheel?

As far as I know there is only one valve stem on each wheel, the TPS is in the wheel on the other end of the valve stem. So let air out from the normal valve stem.

follow the manual instructions, they are clear and easy to do. Let the air out slowly from the valve (there is only one on the tire, nothing is on the inside of the rim) and it will register and the car horn will chirp. You do not need to let out much air. It is helpful if you don't have a good air pump or tank at home to stop by a gas station and add a few more pounds than needed, say 35 lbs on a cold tire. Then you are just letting air out to adjust rather than adding.

the faq is your friend: http://cadillacfaq.com/faq/answers/tprepro.html

BTW, if you have more than one stem.....youre really screwed.
