Well I've already replaced the Link arms, the Rotors and the Idler arm, but I am still getting the clunk over bumps and cracks in the road. I also get steering wheel wobble at speeds over 35mph when I brake, sometimes accompanied by a back/forward vibration of the gear lever. All fades away under 35. All is fine when not braking!

I think I need to do the control arm bushings and ball joints and maybe tie rod ends. I did read somewhere that strut bushings can cause these sysptoms - how does one check the struts?

Have any of the Canucks out there bought parts from the suppliers in Michigan or Texas and had them shipped to Canada? If so could you let me know what taxes I would be in for? You can E-mail a reply if you prefer to loopingform@yahoo.com

Thanks for any input to this prob.

The symptoms you have given about vibrations and wobble while breaking they all point to warped rotors but you have mentioned that you have changed the rotors so i cant help you there. As far as importing a part from US is concerend i bought the oil cooler from US that was worth $90 CAD with shipping and handling but i ended up paying almost $50 for canadian for brokrage and taxes so i think be very careful that is all i can say.
