Looks like I'm in the stretch. With help from some of you guys I replaced my spark plugs, ignition wires(msn 8.5 mm), distributor ignition module (summit racing high output)+ ignition coil, rebuilt carb from (carb exchange), Edelbrock spacer, and cutout plenum on stock manifold. Replaced all vacuum lines too. Got everything ready to go and guess what won't start .Flooded it twice. If you were to guess where would you start? I've heard of bad rebuilds but I'm hoping not. Thanks:confused:

Have you checked the timing, you might have put the distributer in 180 degrees off? I've done it! :) Also, does it get spark? Sounds like it's getting enough fuel.

Thanks, after I looked at distributor I found open wire going to BAT terminal. Don't know if was intermittent or what but after I replaced it car started right away

So it was an ignition problem! LOL! :)

Glad it was something simple!
