My center display goes black about three times... each time, I turn off the engine, get out and lock... leave it for 1 minute and come back... and it works..

Yup,

There is a known issue with the Screens blacking out and they will typically replace the head unit.

Sometimes it is just the screen and sometimes the hard keys will lock-up at the same time.
