Sounds like a NASCAR car coming down the hill. :-/

Norm - who likes to turn right and brake too.

A V-Owner did that, but used an electrical actuator to turn it on and off...

Best part is when you see the driver not wearing a shirt WT style in the 3rd video... hehe

I have some electronic cutouts on my corvette from QTP. I'll admitt, they don't sound as good as a full blown exhaust upgrade when open though they are pretty mean sounding, but they do allow me to have the piece and quiet of the stock system and no resonance at the flip of a switch. It was a perfect option for me since my car is a daily driver and my wife also uses it quite often and she much prefers drive a vehicle with stock exhaust.

I used dual cut outs though, not a single dump like the CTS-V posted before, though I am sure they sound pretty similar. I enjoy the mod. -- and get a lot of compliments and second looks when I rev with them closed then open them and rev again. :)

Eeek! :) To each his own I guess. I guess I grew out of that when the last baseball card flapping on my bicycle spokes got caught in a rain storm. :-)

Norm - low and hopefully not slow...

Norm:

I'm well past the age when I should have grown out of this, too, but like many on this board, that hasn't stopped me yet:highfive:

I said I was thinking of doing the cutouts, that was until I had the pleasure of standing outside of my car when it was at WOT with stock manifolds and cats (car was on the dyno). With the blower, headers and RT cats, I think my car will be enough to scare the $hit out of most anyone, without the cutouts.

PS: Hope I never run into that Beretta of yours when you get finished with it..
