How's everyone doing?

As you may have read in a post below I'm having more trouble with Cadillac...

I have had the High Oil Temp light blinking and beeping since last Thanksgiving. I have taken it to the dealership 4 times for a fix and they finally told me "Don't bring it back. There is no fix for this. You just have to live with it."

So I bought a 50 thousand dollar Cadillac and it's broke. It's under warranty so they MUST fix it but they can't. This means it's a lemon...no question about it!!! :eek: So I'm going into arbiration now. Just to let you know a TSB is out on this problem…it says we can’t fix it but we are working on a fix. They have been working on it since May 06, 2004. :rant2:

I can’t even sell my car right now because nobody is going to buy it like this…would you buy a car with a beeping and blinking light that is not fixable? I'm trying to dump it but I can't. So now what should I do?????

I’ve had it with GM!!! I’ll let everyone know what happens in arbitration.

I hope all your V's are doing better than mine! Anyone else having trouble with this issue? Now I can't even sell the thing! I'm stuck! :mad:

They should have told you this....


"We are currently in the process of releasing a calibration to correct this concern and a bulletin with be released when the calibration is available."

They did tell me that. But how long must I wait? I can't sell the car like this! The TSB has been going on for 2 years...I wonder if it will take 2 more, ya know?

Geez, Joey, it's nice hear your voice again ... I mean, well ... you know what I mean. And, even better, it's nice to see your avatar is "alive" and well. :bouncy:

(j/k) Sorry to hear of your problem, however. It'll get fixed; you just have to find the right dealer. Since I don't know that area (hell, I hardly know my own regarding dealers), I wish I could help you. Just like to the advice above, the guys here will help. :thumbsup:

This one is dated Aug. 3, 2004 -- is it a possible fix for your situation?

Thanks for the help but no that's not it...

They did that TSB (reflashed the DIC) around last thanksgiving and it did nothing but lock up the DIC. Then they ordered a new DIC and installed it and we were back at square 1. Light and beep has continued every since.
