Im about to swap out my factory headunit for a in-dash dvd/nav. I have a 2000 and have questions about the precedure. I have read that when you remove the factory headunit you lose on-star aswell as other elecronic functions. Does anyone know what actually happens when it was removed? or has anyone done the swap. If i have to keep the fac h/u in the trunk i will do so but i would like to know if it is neccesary because i dont use my on-star. Any help is awesome:thumbsup:
