My CTS has 38000 miles on it. Im going to have the new tires installed today and was considering having them put in new iridium spark plugs. It would probably run me about 70-90 bux and was just wondering if it was worth it to do or should I wait till 100000 miles? Would I notice more power or anything?

Oh yeah, this is being done by my regular mechanic- not the bend me over the table and rape my butt-hole dealership!

I think I am the only one that has put in Iridium plugs into the CTS. I noticed a big difference in response time from the engine. If you mechanic does it make sure he knows that he needs the gaskets before he jumps in the car. Also make sure he uses Denso Iridium plugs and the correct P/N

WHOA!!! Marineguy out the woodwork!!! Where you been borther? What gaskets are you referring to? My mechanic is one of the best in the area so I assume he would get er done right.

Im also going to have the throttle body cleaned and have them check the oil. Anything else that is under the 30000 mile service that I should have done?
