Ok, my CTS has been making some funny noises in the engine. the dealership has looked at it but couldnt figure out the problem so, its going back to them on May 4th for them to diagnose it further. My Volant intake just arrived yesterday. Should I wait till after the dealership looks at it to install my Volant intake?
wait till afterwards. most lazy service reps wil just point at the volant and say "well thats your problem right there"

It would have been nice for you to but the Volant in to add some solvency to this debate.

Yeah, My dealer said a faulty steering sensor was caused by aftermarket 18" wheels. Lazy? Not really as it ends up being more work for them.

WAIT After they get done checking don't let them use the "mechanic's creed" and tell you "they all do that." If the noise is still there then put on the Volant and the sound will drown out the noise. :stirpot:
