The following is inspired by Sandy and Noahsdad:
I work with an older OBGYN doctor who's been around long enough to see almost everything. So as you can imagine, he has lots of good stories. He's matured enough in his practice that he no longer delivers babies (which is a huge liability), so gynocological surgery and helping people conceive are now his bread and butter.
One day he saw a couple in his clinic who had been happily married for 2 years. They had been trying to get pregnant for just over a year, and had come to this doctor for help. So Dr Kat (we'll call him Kat) starts into interviewing both parties and exploring their sex life and health histories. Both parties admit to feeling very satisfied with their sex life, and both are orgasmic during intercourse. Both are very healthy with no overt physical causes for thier "sterility."
So the husband steps out of the room while Dr Kat and his nurse perform a physical examination on the wife. So up into the stirrups the Mrs goes, and Dr Kat performs a vaginal exam. To his surprise he finds that the Mrs has an intact hymen. That's right....she's still a virgin!! :hmm: So at this point he's thinking to himself, "this woman's husband must have the smallest pecker ever!?"
So after some additional questioning [with hurband in the room] he finds that the husband is at least average in his endowment. Apparently both Mr and Mrs had grown up in a culture where discussion about birds and bees and sexuality were very taboo, so to say the least they weren't very knowledgable about "stuff."
Over the 2 years neither the Mr or the Mrs knew they were doing anything wrong......but in fact they'd been having anal sex. Once Dr Kat gave some very specific instruction to this young couple [including pictures of female anatomy and instructions to leave the lights on during intercourse] they were able to conceive within 1 month.
Sex became a whole new deal for these two, and Dr Kat got a great story to tell in the operating room.
Coming soon: the story about surgical extraction of a frozen fish. :hide:
