I cannot find the ignition buzzer/chime. You know. The one that warns you that you left your keys in the ignition. Mine does not work and I cannot find it. It is a 1988 Deville. Anyone know where this thing is hidden? I've been all over the bottom of the dash looking for it. If anyone can help me find this thing, I would really appreciate it.

Anyone else? I'd really like to get this function working again.

Thanks!

WHY?
If you must know, it's way up under the dash, next to the radio, and under the Twilight and sun load sensors.
Does the chime go off when you leave the headlights on (manually), ign off, and open the door?
The module is called a 'mulitfunction chime/alarm'.

Thanks for the reply, Harry. :worship:
This car actually belongs to my Mom and she does not like the automatic headlight function. On more than one occasion, she has left the lights on because there is no chime. We moved her in with us when she turned 72, so I became her auto mechanic! The chime used to just have reduced volume and I should have searched for it then. Now it is totally quiet.
