View Full Version : 4 hours of crap!!!! I got a ticket like 2 1/2 months ago and I am taking the drivers course to get rid of the points that i would have gotten if not taking the course....this is honestly like something they give you, if you have never driven before....its so incredibly stupid. Even if I finish reading before the time given, I have to wait till the whoel time is up...thats what I am doing all day today at work...blahhhhh:bighead: It's a form of time torture to convince you not to get another ticket.
Do you think it will work ? ;) It's a form of time torture to convince you not to get another ticket.
Do you think it will work ? ;)
Well when I get my valentine, hopefully I wont have to worry about that ;)
but other than that...YES!!! you can only take it 5 times in your lifetime too :( Boombotz 04-24-06, 11:32 AM Sounds like fun. I'll remember to think of you the next time I want to speed. I PASSED!!!!!!:worship: :bouncy: I got a 35/40 and you needed atleast 80% to pass.... POINT REDUCTION FOR ME!!!!! w0000000t!!! I thought this thread was going to be about a Dave Matthews concert. slk230mb 04-24-06, 04:02 PM I thought this thread was going to be about a Dave Matthews concert.
You suck! :farting: :farting: You suck! :farting: :farting:
To add insult to injury, someone paid for my ticket too. :D slk230mb 04-24-06, 04:57 PM To add insult to injury, someone paid for my ticket too. :D
Then stop complaining! :thepan: Caddy Man 04-24-06, 05:30 PM I took it when I was 16, it was funny, we had this 40 year old fella in the class, graying hair to the side, glasses, canary yellow polo shirt tucked into khaki shorts that were above knee in length. This guy was answering all the questions and asking all kinds of stuff and was really excited about being there. Seems like he just took the class because he wanted to. Then stop complaining! :thepan:
True, true. I did enjoy a beer and have a good nap. davesdeville 04-25-06, 03:56 AM Here you can take it every 18 months. I have about 6-8 months left. I've been twice, once for a legit drag racing ticket, once for a BS loss of traction ticket.
The instructor where I went is cool. In a part of it he asks everyone one by one what they drive. He asked me, I said "95 Cadillac Eldorado," he says "that year has the northstar right?" "yeah" "Ah I see why you're here." Then the next time I went he got to me and said "and I know you drive a Cadillac Eldorado."
It's 6 hours here. But so worth it, I'd probably have had my license suspended for a couple of months if I'd received the points. Tailfin 04-25-06, 10:02 AM 5 hours here... I recall taking it before getting my license, because you either had to take that or driver's ed...and I couldn't take driver's ed in the summer because I went to a music camp (no one chime in band camp lol, I already thought of it :stirpot: ). Had a couple people there who were DWIs...blah to them.
The best part is the retarded and dated videos they show you as if to exemplify the importance of their lesson....and the bad acting is funny... The Final Factor comes to mind...where they tell you the few factors leading to an accident...Keep in mind the 50s voice like he's talking to an idiot...ok ok...in many cases he is lol... Jim is on his way to work, eating his lunch...He is not paying attention as he turns out...he could swerve but.... Natalie is driving, and her kids are yelling in the background... She doesn't notice she's drifting lanes, and is distracted by the noise from the backseat.... Shaun is lost...and he's trying to look at a map while he drives. This is extremely unsafe! He cannot see as he comes up on the intersection where Jim and Natalie are, and thats----*insert I'm-going-to-crash face here acted worse than an 80s horror flick*--THE FINAL FACTOR! :histeric: Seems like you guys are going to an actual class for it...I took mine over the internet. You just have to leave the web page open for the amount of time. Sucks for you guys that had to go into an actual class tho:thepan: hahahha I dont think I could handle doing that. Tailfin 04-25-06, 10:18 AM Eh? Scoundrel! Though I understand why... The state has to pay someone to give those classes, no doubt. In one hand, assure that the drivers are safe by "educating" and torturing them...other hand...pretend to do the job just as well and save paying these people... Poor state...tough decision... I~LUV~Caddys8792 04-25-06, 12:11 PM Heh, I thought this thread was about "Gone With The Wind" |
